You will guide a development team, provide technical oversight, and collaborate across business, QA, and IT groups to deliver robust software solutions. The role requires 5+ years in software development, strong skills in Java, SQL, REST/SOAP APIs, and domain experience with Life/Group/Health Insurance core applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Eng or related field.
• 5 years in software development.
• Experience with Java, SQL, REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience with Life/Group/Health Insurance core applications.
• Experience with modern frameworks and architectures (e.g., microservices, REST APIs).
• Knowledge of APIs, databases, and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance business applications and systems.
• Lead and support a team of developers in delivering software projects and technical requirements.
• Provide technical guidance, review code, and help resolve development issues.
• Support application integrations, enhancements, and system improvements.
• Work closely with business, QA, and other technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues.
