Job summary

TOA Global in the Philippines seeks a Senior SMSF Accountant to lead the high-impact SMSF practice for Australian clients, ensuring audit-ready financial statements, tax returns, and compliant documentation from Clark, Tarlac, Cebu, or Manila.

You will mentor junior SMSF accountants, supervise workflows, and act as the main liaison with auditors, mastering complex fund dynamics like pensions, varied contributions, and diverse portfolios with integrity and precision.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SMSF accounting experience within an Australian accounting firm.
• In-depth knowledge of SMSF legislation (SIS Act) and current ATO requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in SMSF software: Class Super or Simple Fund 360 (BGL).
• Strong review, leadership, and communication skills to meet high-pressure deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and high-level review of SMSF financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documentation to be audit-ready.
• Mentor and supervise intermediate SMSF accountants, guiding workflows and ensuring technical excellence.
• Serve as the primary liaison for auditors and translate regulatory changes into actionable guidance for Australian client managers.
• Navigate complex fund dynamics including pension commencements, contributions, and diverse investment portfolios with integrity.
