Job summary

Ably Digital is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer/Analyst Programmer on a contract basis in the Philippines. You will contribute to ongoing development, platform enhancements, integrations, automation and production support across ITSM, HRSD and Employee Center.

The role requires hands-on development with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub and MID Server, collaborating with BAs, Architects and PMs in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on ServiceNow development, configuration and customisation experience.
• Hands-on experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, workflows and/or Flow Designer.
• Good understanding of software and systems analysis, design and development principles.
• Experience working with ServiceNow ITSM and/or HRSD.
• Knowledge of Employee Center / Employee Service Center would be highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow integration technologies such as IntegrationHub and MID Server.
• Experience supporting, troubleshooting and maintaining ServiceNow applications in a production environment.
• Understanding of software testing processes including SIT, UAT, debugging and defect resolution
• Experience working within structured software development and release processes
• Ability to work effectively with Business Analysts, Architects, Project Managers and other technical teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a wider delivery team
• Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure and enhance solutions across the ServiceNow platform
• Build and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, workflows and Flow Designer solutions
• Develop new functionality and enhance existing ServiceNow applications and modules
• Support solutions across ITSM, HRSD and Employee Center
• Develop integrations between ServiceNow and external enterprise applications using APIs and integration technologies
• Help automate business processes and improve user experience for internal services
• Analyse technical issues and provide advanced support for production ServiceNow applications
• Troubleshoot defects and application issues throughout the development lifecycle
• Work with Business Analysts during SIT and UAT to investigate and resolve technical issues
• Perform code reviews and ensure development work follows standards
• Coordinate application changes and deployments across environments
• Monitor existing applications and identify performance/scalability improvements
• Translate requirements into effective platform solutions with technical teams
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute through SDLC
• Communicate project progress and risks to stakeholders
• Produce technical documentation for implemented solutions
• Provide ongoing support and continuous improvement after deployment
