Job summary

Kajae, a premium staff augmentation company, is seeking a Senior SEO & AIO Specialist to own organic search and AI visibility strategy for a US-based client. This hands-on role spans technical SEO, content strategy, analytics, and AI-driven search across diverse accounts.

You will diagnose technical issues, optimize WordPress sites, evaluate AI crawler behavior, and present performance to clients. Remote work and competitive USD salary are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional SEO across technical, on-page, and content strategy.
• Proven ownership of SEO KPIs and outcomes across client accounts.
• Hands-on WordPress optimization experience.
• Deep knowledge of crawlability, indexation, schema, Core Web Vitals.
• Experience with AI search optimization and AI Overviews.
• Proficiency with Google Search Console, GA4, and rank-tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Own SEO and AIO strategy, execution, performance, and KPIs across assigned client accounts.
• Conduct comprehensive technical, on-page, content, and competitive SEO audits.
• Implement SEO optimizations directly within client WordPress websites, including metadata, headers, internal linking, site architecture.
• Build, implement, and troubleshoot schema markup and structured data across different page types.
• Monitor and optimize crawlability, indexation, page speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile usability, and overall site health.
• Conduct keyword research and mapping to guide website architecture, landing pages, blogs, and other content initiatives.
• Manage technical SEO fundamentals, including redirects, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonicalization.
• Develop and execute off-page SEO strategies focused on acquiring high-quality backlinks.
• Optimize websites and content for AI Overviews, AI assistants, and LLM-based search experiences.
• Monitor AI crawler activity and emerging AI visibility signals.
• Implement and maintain emerging AI-search optimization practices.
• Monitor algorithm updates and translate into client strategy.
• Partner with content teams to optimize new content for both traditional and AI discovery.
• Identify content gaps and growth opportunities via keyword analysis.
• Build client-ready SEO performance reports and connect SEO to business outcomes.
• Proactively identify ranking declines and recommend solutions.
• Present SEO/AIO findings to clients when needed.
• Continuously test emerging SEO and AI tactics and share findings.
• Bring proactive recommendations to client accounts.
