Job summary

Dexcom Philippines is seeking a Staff Cybersecurity Engineer to join the Security Operations team. You will monitor SIEM alerts, perform incident analysis, and drive remediation actions across endpoints, networks, and cloud-like environments.

You will also lead or support security projects and assist with audits and certifications. The role requires strong hands-on experience with security tools (SIEM/IDS/DLP), and the ability to cover US, EMEA or APAC hours on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline and substantial security experience.
• Experience leading security projects and implementing security controls.
• Strong incident response, threat analysis, and forensics capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to security alerts from SIEM and various security tools.
• Lead incident response, threat analysis, and remediation efforts.
• Manage security service requests and vulnerability scans.
• Oversee assigned SecOps pillar and contribute to project implementations.
• Occasionally act as shift lead or escalation point.
• Support penetration testing and remediation activities.
• Address control gaps from audits and certifications.
• Contribute to SOC processes, metrics and reporting.
