Cloudstaff Philippines Inc. is seeking a SDS/2 Detailing Coordinator / Senior Steel Detailer to join our office-based team in the Philippines. You will configure and optimize SDS/2, manage RFIs, and coordinate drawing control across multiple projects for structural steel and miscellaneous metals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of structural steel detailing experience.
• Strong proficiency in SDS/2
• Experience detailing structural steel and miscellaneous metals for U.S. projects
• Thorough understanding of AISC standards and detailing practices
• Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings
• Experience managing RFIs, revisions, and drawing control
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and optimize SDS/2 and other detailing software platforms.
• Support detailing workflow improvements and standardization.
• Ensure efficient use of software resources across assigned projects.
• Review structural drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Verify project scope and connection requirements.
• Identify conflicts, missing information, and constructability concerns.
• Communicate issues to project managers, engineers, customers, and detailing partners.
• Generate and track RFIs.
• Review RFIs submitted by outsourced detailing firms.
• Coordinate responses with engineers, architects, contractors, and internal teams.
• Ensure approved RFI responses are incorporated into all detailing deliverables.
• Produce structural and miscellaneous steel shop drawings using SDS/2.
• Generate fabrication-ready and erection-ready drawing packages.
• Interpret design documents and maintain compliance with specs.
• Maintain project drawing logs and revision control records.
• Ensure only current approved drawings are released for fabrication and erection.
• Coordinate with PMs, estimators, fabrication personnel, and leadership.
• Align detailing schedules with fabrication and erection sequencing.
