Job summary

Grandspan Development Corporation in Binangonan Rizal is seeking a skilled Steel Detailer to translate architectural and structural plans into detailed shop drawings for fabrication. The role requires 3+ years of steel detailing experience and strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, Revit, with BOCAD as a plus).

You will collaborate across teams to ensure accuracy and code compliance while documenting the design process.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Steel Detailer or in a similar role.
• Proficient in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Revit.
• Experience in BOCAD is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of steel construction techniques, fabrication methods, and industry standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with building codes and construction regulations in the local area.
• Degree in Architectural Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to produce detailed steel fabrication drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure design accuracy and constructability.
• Use CAD software to create 2D and 3D models of steel structures and components.
• Identify and resolve design conflicts, providing practical solutions to improve project efficiency.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation throughout the design process.
• Assist in the preparation of material lists, shop orders, and other project-related documents.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards, building codes, and best practices.
