Job summary

Symrise Asia Pacific Pte Ltd in the Philippines seeks a Senior Application Technologist (Savory) to shape flavor ideas and develop prototypes for snacks, seasonings, sauces and processed meats, collaborating with Sales, Marketing and cross-functional teams.

You will uphold EHS and QA standards, manage recipe data, and translate customer needs into technically feasible concepts while staying ahead of industry trends and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of work experience in R&D for savory applications in flavor/food ingredients or FMCG.
• Experience with processed meat applications is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of food regulations, safety and QA practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess and recommend suitable flavors for savory and culinary formats.
• Develop prototypes of snack and culinary applications including seasonings, sauces, dressings, and processed meat.
• Leverage Symrise technology and expertise in food product development.
• Keep abreast of emerging ingredients and application technologies.
• Ensure laboratory cleanliness and compliance with EHS policies.
• Manage recipe documentation and evaluation data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project outcomes.
• Provide technical guidance and training to customers as required.
