Job summary

Mav3rik is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer for a remote Managed Services role. You will architect, implement, and optimize Salesforce solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance while collaborating with business analysts and developers.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years of Salesforce development experience, strong Apex/LWC/SLDS/VisualForce skills, and proficiency in additional programming languages. Remote work offers flexibility and ongoing Salesforce training opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of development experience on the Salesforce platform.
  • Expertise in Apex, LWC, SLDS and VisualForce.

A Senior Developer tackles innovative, challenging, and complex projects, specialising in designing and implementing solutions on and around the Salesforce platform. They provide expert guidance, craft strategic recommendations, and drive those visions to successful, tangible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Skilled at translating Salesforce features to business users, actively leading and participating in prototyping solutions to meet business needs.
  • Architect, develop, and implement high-quality Salesforce solutions adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Ensure designs are scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows established coding standards and principles and platform best practices.
  • Actively participate in peer code reviews to enhance quality, consistency, and knowledge sharing.
  • Develop comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure correctness, reliability, and robustness of solutions.
  • Identify and address edge cases and error handling gracefully.
  • Implement best practices for coding, data validation, sanitization, and access control to maintain data integrity and prevent security vulnerabilities.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and other developers to deliver solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Regularly review and refactor code to enhance readability, performance, and scalability.
  • Stay up-to-date with Salesforce advancements and incorporate new best practices as appropriate.
  • Maintain thorough documentation for all codebases, ensuring future developers can easily understand and modify the solutions.
  • Create, manage and optimize deployment pipelines, ensuring smooth and efficient migrations between development, testing, and production environments.
  • Utilize CI/CD tools and practices to streamline deployment workflows and maintain code quality throughout the lifecycle.
  • Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and optimization for deployed solutions as part of Managed Services.
  • Ensure high-quality Hypercare post-launch by promptly addressing issues, optimizing performance, and implementing enhancements as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4–6 years of development experience on the Salesforce platform.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Lightning Design System (SLDS) and VisualForce.
  • Proficient in at least one other programming language beyond Salesforce.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities to leverage Salesforce configuration and declarative tools before resorting to custom development.
  • Evaluates the suitability of Salesforce Configuration, OmniStudio, and Apex Code to deliver optimal, scalable solutions with maintainability in mind.
  • Thorough understanding of code security standards and best practices to ensure data integrity and mitigate vulnerabilities including the use of tools like ApexPMD and Forcecom Scanner for static code analysis and quality assurance.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing robust data models, including standard and custom objects, junction objects, relationships, and advanced data modeling concepts to support scalable and efficient solutions.
  • Proficient in deployment tools and methodologies such as Gearset, with expertise in CI/CD practices, version control systems, and static code analysis tools like ApexPMD.
  • Solid understanding of Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds, including their architecture, components, and customisation.
  • Makes well-reasoned decisions and trade-offs within their area of expertise, balancing technical considerations with business requirements.
  • Awareness of industry trends and proactively upskills to accelerate learning and improve technical proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.
  • Salesforce Health Cloud Consultant or OmniStudio Developer certification.
  • Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, public sector, financial services).
  • Knowledge of FHIR or healthcare data compliance frameworks is a plus.
  • Exposure to multiple Salesforce clouds (Service, Sales, Experience, Industries).
