Job summary

SunPower is seeking a Salesforce Architect to own the technical architecture and roadmap for its Salesforce ecosystem across sales, service, and operations. You will partner with business stakeholders and developers to design secure, maintainable solutions built for long-term growth.

Responsibilities include leading design reviews, governance, and integrations with external systems, while mentoring junior staff and aligning with SunPower's multi-brand strategy and acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including at least 3 years in an architect-level role.
• Salesforce Architect certification (or equivalent depth of experience) required; Platform Developer II and Sales/Service Cloud certifications are a plus.
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce data modeling, security, Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flow.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end technical architecture and roadmap for the Salesforce org(s).
• Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Lead design and code review for custom development (Apex, LWC, flows).
• Define governance standards: environment strategy, release management, change control.
• Architect integrations between Salesforce and external systems (NetSuite, marketing automation, telephony).
• Evaluate AppExchange vs custom builds for speed, cost, maintainability.
• Own technical debt reduction and platform health across acquisitions.
• Partner with IT leadership to set roadmap and backlog priority.
• Mentor junior Salesforce admins and developers.
