Job summary

Luxzure Realty & Development Corporation is seeking a Construction Safety Officer to lead safety programs across on-site projects in the Philippines. The role enforces DOLE and OSHA-like standards, conducts HIRAC, inspections, audits, and incident investigations to prevent hazards.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of safety experience, DOLE COSH/Safety Officer 3 certification, and training in HIRAC, LCM, First Aid, and Emergency Response. On-site leadership and decisive action are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of relevant construction safety experience.
• DOLE-accredited Construction Safety and Health Officer (COSH) / Safety Officer 3 certification.
• Training or certification in HIRAC, Loss Control Management (LCM), First Aid, and Emergency Response is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety practices, OSH standards, hazard identification, risk assessment, emergency response, and safety documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and decision-making skills; firm and confident in enforcing safety standards and willing to work on-site and across multiple project environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce company safety policies in compliance with DOLE, OSH standards, and applicable government regulations.
• Conduct HIRAC, site inspections, safety audits, and monitoring to identify hazards and ensure effective control measures.
• Monitor safety compliance of employees, workers, contractors, and subcontractors during high-risk activities including working on elevated platforms, excavation, lifting, electrical, confined space, hot works, etc.
• Investigate and document accidents, incidents, and near-misses; conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct safety orientations, toolbox meetings, training, emergency drills, and safety briefings; ensure proper PPE use and availability.
• Prepare and maintain safety reports, inspection records, incident documentation, training records, and other compliance documents; coordinate with project teams, government agencies, auditors, and inspectors as required.
