Job summary

Okada Manila is seeking a Safety Officer to work with the OSH team to monitor hazards, implement safety programs, and maintain confidential incident reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, at least 1 year in safety, SO3 training if possible, and fluency in English and Filipino; you will lead trainings and coordinate emergency services, ensuring compliance with DOLE OSH guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any Bachelor’s Degree.
• Fluent in English and Filipino (spoken and written).
• SO3 training or willingness to obtain SO3.
• Knowledge of DOLE OSH guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Works with the OSH team to monitor hazards and coordinate safety programs.
• Communicates information to employees and customers; handles incidents discretely.
• Promotes health and safety awareness across the organization.
• Assists in developing safety programs, trainings, procedures and job hazard analyses.
• Supports emergency services during serious incidents and aids evacuation as wardens.
