Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Business & Data Analyst to drive data-driven decisions during RTP transformations. The role focuses on analyzing processes, extracting data from SAP S/4HANA and Ariba, building dashboards, and supporting business cases during transformation initiatives.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, facilitate workshops, and guide change management activities while ensuring timely, accurate insights for executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business/process transformation, consulting and project management.
• Hands-on experience with SAP modules SD/MM/FI-CO/PS and SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with Hypercare or post go-live support for ERP/Procurement projects.
• Proficiency with Excel and reporting/visualization tools (Power BI, KNIME, Python).
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex concepts for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis across RTP processes to identify trends, bottlenecks, defects, and improvement opportunities.
• Translate business questions into data requirements and synthesize insights into concise recommendations.
• Build and maintain dashboards/reports (SAP tools, Excel, Power BI) to support decision-making and post go-live performance tracking.
• Support impact assessments, business cases, and benefit tracking for RTP transformation initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops to capture objectives and translate them into world-class processes and technology enablers.
• Act as a primary analytical resource during deployment, cutover, and Hypercare phases.
• Contribute to training materials and change management communications for end users.
