Job summary

Manulife Global Solutions (MGS) seeks a Senior Reporting Lead to manage a team of Reporting Analysts. You will design, build, and sustain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Power Query, and Power Apps, while ensuring data accuracy and strong stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in reporting, business intelligence, data analytics, or related field.
• 2–3 years of people leadership or workstream leadership experience including coaching and resource allocation.
• Demonstrated experience building and supporting Power BI dashboards and reports from requirements through deployment and ongoing enhancement.
• Ability to manage multiple reporting requests, changing priorities, and ambiguous requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of dashboards, recurring reports, scorecards, and ad-hoc analytical solutions using Power BI and related Microsoft tools.
• Translate business requirements into practical report designs, data models, measures, visualizations, and user experiences.
• Review and approve report logic, calculations, filters, drill-through paths, refresh behavior, and presentation before release.
• Balance speed, scalability, control, and user needs when building, enhancing, consolidating, automating, or retiring reports.
• Guide development of reliable semantic models, relationships, measures, and data lineage.
• Ensure metrics are defined and traceable to approved data sources with clear documentation.
• Lead discovery sessions and convert requests into prioritized requirements and prototypes.
• Maintain portfolio visibility of demand, WIP, risks, and delivery dates.
• Establish quality checks covering reconciliation, accuracy, and release readiness.
• Lead and coach Reporting Analysts, fostering an inclusive, accountable team environment.
• Own reporting outcomes from request through release and ongoing support.
• Promote continuous improvement and adoption of Microsoft Power Platform features.
