Job summary

Manulife Global Solutions is seeking a Senior Reporting Lead to head a team of Reporting Analysts. You will design, build, and sustain business reports using Power BI, Power Query, and Power Apps, while ensuring data accuracy, lineage, and timely delivery.

The role emphasizes stakeholder partnership, governance, and scalable reporting solutions. You will translate evolving business needs into robust reporting designs, oversee data models, and ensure quality across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science or related field
• 7+ years total experience in reporting/BI/data analytics
• 2–3 years of people leadership or workstream leadership
• Proven experience building Power BI dashboards from requirements through deployment
• Advanced Power BI capability: DAX, data modeling, visualization, publishing, workspace management, and security
• Power Query and Power Apps capabilities; experience with Power Automate, SharePoint, and Excel integration
• Strong stakeholder management, requirements elicitation, and agile delivery

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of dashboards, reports, scorecards, and ad-hoc analytical solutions using Power BI and related Microsoft tools
• Translate business requirements into report designs, data models, measures, visuals, and user experiences
• Review and approve report logic, calculations, filters, and refresh behavior before release
• Guide semantic model development and ensure data lineage and documentation
• Provide governance, quality checks, and documentation across the reporting portfolio
• Lead team of Reporting Analysts and drive capability development
• Engage with Finance leaders, process owners, data owners, and tech partners to ensure aligned reporting outputs
• Escalate issues and resolve delivery risks while maintaining data quality and usability
• Adopt agile practices and drive continuous improvement in reporting processes
• Mentor analysts and foster a culture of reusable components and peer review
• Oversee Power BI, Power Query, Power Apps, and integration workflows to optimize production readiness
