Job summary

The Auctus Group is seeking a Senior Reporting QA & Data Validation Analyst to ensure accuracy across healthcare reporting systems, EHRs, and billing platforms. You will validate outputs, reconcile data, and drive data quality improvements with strong SQL and Excel skills.

Collaborate with Reporting & BI teams, operations, and engineers to trace issues, conduct regression tests, and develop reusable validation processes. Remote work supported.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting quality assurance, data validation, reconciliation, or a related analytical role.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and large data comparisons.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, comparing, aggregating, reconciling, and validating data.
• Experience investigating discrepancies across reports, databases, or business systems and identifying underlying causes.
• Ability to interpret complex business rules and translate them into practical validation scenarios.
• Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to independently investigate issues, follow through on findings, and manage multiple validation assignments.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills for clear findings and impact.
• Reliable computer access and a stable, high-speed internet connection suitable for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Independently validate reports, dashboards, and datasets before sharing with clients or stakeholders.
• Reconcile figures against source systems including EHRs, practice management, and billing platforms.
• Perform record-level and aggregate checks to identify missing, duplicates, or inaccuracies.
• Verify calculations, business rules, filters, date ranges, and metric definitions across reports.
• Trace discrepancies through data extraction, transformation, and reporting processes to identify root causes.
• Conduct regression testing when reporting logic or data pipelines change.
• Develop repeatable testing procedures, reconciliation templates, and validation checklists.
• Create exception reports and identify opportunities to automate validation activities.
• Document testing results, supporting evidence, business impact, corrections, and resolutions.
