Job summary

Gcash, Philippines-based, seeks a Senior Manager, Compliance to lead regulatory oversight, policy design, and cross-team advisory. You will partner with internal teams and regulators to ensure timely reporting, risk mitigation, and effective implementation of compliance programs across the subsidiary landscape.

Ideal candidates bring a law/business background with at least seven years in regulatory compliance, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with listed company

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in regulatory compliance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of BSP, AMLC, SEC regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in publicly listed companies.
• Proficiency in G Suite and compliance management software.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Oversight: Monitor regulatory issuances and ensure timely compliance.
• Regulatory Oversight: Conduct gap assessments on programs, processes, and products to identify compliance improvements.
• Regulatory Oversight: Assess and mitigate regulatory risks for new business initiatives.
• Business Partnering & Internal Advisory Services: Advise internal teams and embed regulatory considerations into decisions.
• Business Partnering & Internal Advisory Services: Provide guidance on compliance risks for proposed products, services, and changes.
• Business Partnering & Internal Advisory Services: Prepare reports and memos on regulatory developments for management.
• Policy Development & Implementation: Lead design and implementation of compliance policies and programs.
• Policy Development & Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute policies in operations.
• Policy Development & Implementation: Conduct periodic policy reviews to align with regulatory changes.
• Regulatory Reporting & Audit Management: Oversee regulatory reporting for timely/submission accuracy.
