Job summary

Aurecon is seeking a civil engineer to join our Infrastructure team in Manila. You will lead civil design tasks across drainage, earthworks, utilities and alignment while coordinating with structural, transport and other disciplines.

Expect to develop practical, constructible solutions and communicate clearly with clients and project teams. With a background in civil engineering and about 6+ years in infrastructure design, you will use 3D design tools and emerging AI techniques to improve

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with practical engineering understanding.
• Approximately 6+ years experience in civil infrastructure design, preferably in consulting.
• Proactive, resourceful engineer willing to adopt new practices and improve delivery.
• Strong civil engineering capability across general civil, drainage, earthworks and alignment design.
• Clear communicator able to explain issues, options, risks and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to civil design tasks across general civil, drainage, earthworks, utilities and alignment.
• Develop practical design solutions responding to client requirements, site constraints and standards.
• Coordinate inputs with structural, transport, drainage and other disciplines.
• Prepare and review drawings, calculations, design reports and technical notes.
• Communicate design assumptions, risks and actions with teams and clients.
• Use digital workflows, AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and quality.
• Identify opportunities to standardize outputs and reduce rework.
• Support junior engineers with guidance and review.
• Work across local, national and global teams for consistent outcomes.
