Job summary

Aurecon is seeking a Senior Civil Designer in Manila to support transport infrastructure projects from tender to detail design. You will contribute to multidisciplinary road projects, develop road geometry, and prepare construction documentation.

You will work with engineers and project managers to deliver practical, coordinated civil designs, ensuring quality, budget and schedule adherence. Autonomy and strong stakeholder engagement are essential.

Qualifications

Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
Minimum eight years’ experience in civil design for major roads projects.
Knowledge of Australian Standards and industry design practices.
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design activities.

Responsibilities

Create and manage 3D civil models, including corridors, terrain models, alignments and templates.
Develop road geometry, including horizontal and vertical alignments, intersections widening and earthworks.
Prepare civil design plans, profiles, cross-sections and construction documentation.
Work with engineers and project managers to deliver practical, construction-ready civil designs.
Support project delivery in line with quality, budget and schedule requirements.
Produce quantity take-offs and schedules from the 3D model.
Prepare technical reports, design documentation and client presentations.
Work autonomously with minimal support from engineers and other designers.
