Job summary

Arup is seeking a Senior Civil & Structural Engineer to lead the design and delivery of rail and major infrastructure projects from our Manila office. You will bring civil and structural expertise, provide technical leadership across the project lifecycle, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions.

Civil or Structural Engineering degree with Professional Engineer registration or equivalent.
At least six years of experience delivering complex infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of NSCP, DPWH, ASCE/ACI/AISC/AASHTO/ASTM/BS/Eurocodes.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and engineering of civil and structural elements for rail and major infrastructure projects, ensuring technical excellence throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, specifications and technical reports, while ensuring compliance with client requirements and design codes.
Provide technical leadership and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors and regulatory authorities to deliver coordinated project outcomes.
Conduct site inspections and provide engineering support during design and construction phases to resolve technical challenges and maintain project quality.
Mentor and develop junior engineers while contributing to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
