Job summary

SYSTRA in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Structural/Bridge Engineer to perform structural calculations, modeling and analysis, and to lead a team of structural engineers on diverse transport projects.

You will coordinate with Architectural and MEPF disciplines, ensure safety and cost-effectiveness of designs, and adhere to international codes while delivering high-quality solutions for complex structures.

Qualifications

Proficiency with local and international structural codes (NSCP, PD 1096, DPWH DGCS, ACI, AISC, ASCE, UBC, AASHTO, BS EN).
Experience with MIDAS, ETABS, STAAD for analysis and design.
Foundation design knowledge with SAFE or equivalent.
FEA and RAMCon familiarity for connection design.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

Perform structural engineering calculations, modeling and analysis;
Lead a team of structural engineers;
Solve problems of moderate to high level complexity in accordance with project requirements;
Ensure safety, constructability and cost effectiveness of the design;
Understand applicable codes and specifications;
Coordinate with Architectural and MEPF disciplines; and
Report necessary information to immediate supervisor/manager
