Manulife is seeking a senior Quality Engineer to lead automation testing efforts in Manila. You will review requirements, design comprehensive test plans, and craft automation scripts using Playwright and Selenium to ensure high-quality software.

You will mentor teammates, track KPI metrics, and drive continuous improvements in testing practices within a hybrid work setup. This role emphasizes collaboration, learning, and shaping future quality standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Quality Engineering experience.
• 5+ years in Automation Testing.
• 2+ years with Playwright.
• Experience in Selenium.

Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:

• Reviews and translates requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide meaningful feedback to product developers
• Creates, maintains and executes automation test scripts
• Analyzes automation results and investigate failures
• Designs detailed and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Identifies KPIs for product quality
• Tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities, defect frequency first time pass rate
• Keeps up-to-date on latest test software and frameworks
• Drives software development process to quality-centric methodologies
• Identifies Quality Assurance process bottlenecks and design and implement solutions
• Controls, updates and distributes new and revised quality standards and technical changes
• Prepares and deliver formal quality audit reportsKnowledge & skillsExpert in software quality assurance
• Expert inwriting broad test plans and test cases
• Expert inCucumber, Selenium and open-source testing frameworks

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of Quality Engineering experience
• At least 5 years of experience in Automation Testing
• At least 2 years of experience in Playwright
• Experience in Selenium

Preferred Qualifications:

• Test Automation Framework experience
