Moniepoint Inc. is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join its product development team. You will design and execute comprehensive test strategies, author test cases, and lead automation efforts for APIs, microservices, and web/mobile apps.

You will collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure high-quality releases while maintaining cost efficiency. The role requires 7+ years of quality engineering and strong programming skills in Java/TypeScript/JavaScript.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related engineering discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in Quality Engineering.
• Proven ability to write clear, concise test plans and approaches.
• Strong programming skills in Java/TypeScript/JavaScript with emphasis on test automation.
• Experience testing APIs, microservices, mobile native, and web apps.
• Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and pub-sub tech.
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix and cloud infra (GCP, Docker).
• Experience in non-functional testing (performance, security, monitoring).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Harness).
• Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, Postman, Playwright/Selenium, RestAssured.
• Strong experience in Agile/Scrum.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive test strategy and plans.
• Author functional and integration test cases; coordinate reviews with stakeholders.
• Execute tests, publish reports, and communicate results to teams.
• Track quality metrics such as defect density and coverage.
• Design and develop robust test automation approaches.
• Own testing, scripts, and configuration management.
• Create mocks/stubs for isolated component testing.
• Act as primary contact to ensure requirements are testable.
