Job summary

Booth is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to drive quality assurance within our software engineering team. You will build robust QA processes, extend automated test suites, and advocate for test-driven development to scale our dealership platform.

You will design clear test plans, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help clarify ticket intent while catching edge cases early in development. Strong emphasis on automation and long-term scalability with leadership input.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software QA development experience with test automation.
• Hands-on creation and modification of test suites, not only execution.
• Experience with Ruby, PostgreSQL and modern CI/CD tools.
• Strong automation framework experience for web apps.
• Experience with SaaS testing across API, integration, database, visual, performance and load testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and document clear test plans and manual test cases.
• Maintain and extend existing automated test suites and state setups.
• Collaborate with engineers and product owners, clarifying ticket intent.
• Evaluate tickets for overall intent and catch edge cases early.
• Provide insights on QA tools, architecture, and framework enhancements.
