Job summary

Tential Solutions is recruiting a Senior SDET to own quality across a modern full‑stack lending platform. You’ll be embedded in the squad, shifting left, and building the test infrastructure that lets the team ship with confidence.

You’ll lead API and integration testing, design automated suites with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, and advocate for end-to-end quality with US stakeholders while bridging the nearshore squad and product teams in a fast-paced agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA engineering experience in fast-paced, agile environments.
• Strong automation experience with Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent tools.
• API testing proficiency with Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
• Experience testing complex integrations and third-party vendor systems.
• SQL proficiency with PostgreSQL/SQL Server for data validation.
• AWS familiarity and understanding of cloud-based environments and containerized deployments.
• Strong English communication for daily standups and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end QA strategy across the full-stack platform (frontend, backend, integrations).
• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites covering functional, regression, integration, and E2E scenarios.
• Define and enforce quality gates across the CI/CD pipeline—nothing ships without passing the bar you set.
• Lead QA coverage across critical third-party integrations (credit bureaus, dealer systems, fraud providers).
• Validate REST API contracts, retry logic, idempotency, and edge case handling.
• Test DEFI Solutions loan origination workflows—scorecards, rules, decision flows, and data.
• Embed with engineers and product—participate in sprint planning, grooming, and design reviews.
• Partner with Tech Lead to align QA practices with engineering standards.
• Be the quality voice—advocate for end users and platform integrity.
• Bridge nearshore squad and US stakeholders—strong English communication.

We're looking for a Nearshore Senior SDET to own quality across a modern full-stack lending platform. This isn't a checkbox QA role — you're embedded in the squad, shifting left, catching issues early, and building the test infrastructure that lets the team ship with confidence. Real ownership from day one on a high-visibility engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end QA strategy across the full-stack platform — frontend (Next.js), backend (C#/.NET), and integrations
• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites covering functional, regression, integration, and E2E scenarios
• Define and enforce quality gates across the CI/CD pipeline — nothing ships without passing the bar you set

Integration & API Testing

• Lead QA coverage across critical third-party integrations — credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion), dealer systems (DealerTrack, RouteOne), fraud and verification providers
• Validate REST API contracts, retry logic, idempotency, and edge case handling
• Test DEFI Solutions loan origination workflows — scorecards, rules, decision flows, and operational data
• Embed directly with engineers and product — participating in sprint planning, story grooming, and design reviews to catch issues before a line of code is written
• Partner with the Tech Lead to align QA practices with overall engineering standards
• Serve as the quality voice in the room — advocate for the end user and the integrity of the platform
• Bridge between nearshore squad and US-based stakeholders — strong English communication required

Tooling & Automation

• Build and maintain automation frameworks using modern QA tooling (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar)
• Leverage AI-assisted testing tools to accelerate coverage and reduce manual effort
• Own test environments, test data management, and QA documentation

Must-Haves

• 5+ years of QA engineering experience in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Strong automation experience — Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent
• API testing proficiency — Postman, REST Assured, or similar
• Experience testing complex integrations and third-party vendor systems
• SQL proficiency — ability to validate data at the database level (PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
• AWS familiarity — understanding of cloud-based environments and containerized deployments
• Strong English communication for daily standups and US stakeholder collaboration

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience testing Loan Origination Systems — DEFI Solutions or equivalent
• Auto finance, lending, or regulated-industry background
• Performance and load testing experience
