Job summary

Polus Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a motivated Senior QA Engineer to join our expanding Quality Assurance team.

This role focuses on validating features, identifying defects, and improving software quality across websites, APIs, and data systems. You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Data teams to ensure high standards and reliable, scalable solutions for customers. You will design test plans, develop automation scripts, perform thorough regression testing, and contribute to

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science, Engineering, related subject or equivalent work experience.
Several years of software quality assurance experience.
Experience in large-scale database testing or high-traffic, e-commerce sites.

Responsibilities

Meet with Software/Product designers to determine quality assurance parameters.
Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely feedback.
Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools, and work with developers on unit testing.
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track issues.
Ensure thorough regression testing when issues are resolved.
Test functionality, layout, responsiveness, and data accuracy across websites, APIs, search systems, and datasets.
Data quality testing of search engines and databases.
Gain a deep understanding of our websites, products, and business rules.
