Job summary

ProcDNA is seeking a QA Automation Engineer (4–8 years) to design robust automation frameworks, validate data pipelines, and ensure high-quality releases across multiple tech stacks. You will work with engineering, data, and product teams to embed quality throughout the lifecycle.

The role focuses on Selenium automation, API testing, data validation, and building scalable testing processes to support ProcDNA's growing suite of analytics solutions.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in QA Automation and Software Testing.
• Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver using Java or Python.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
• Strong knowledge of Data Testing methodologies.
• Excellent SQL skills with data validation.
• Experience with ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and reporting solutions.
• Hands-on API testing with tools like Postman, REST Assured.
• Familiarity with SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum.
• Experience with Jira for defect management and Git for version control.
• Experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps).

This individual will play a key role in building the testing layer at ProcDNA by designing robust automation frameworks, validating complex data pipelines, and ensuring high‑quality software releases across multiple technology stacks.

Beyond executing test cases, we are looking for someone who can bring a strong testing culture, establish best practices, and work closely with engineering, data, and product teams to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation test frameworks using Selenium.
• Develop automated test scripts for web applications and APIs.
• Perform comprehensive functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across databases, ETL pipelines, APIs, and reporting solutions.
• Create SQL‑based validation scripts for large datasets.
• Build automated data validation processes for modern data platforms.
• Define test strategies, test plans, and quality standards for new products and enhancements.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, business analysts, and product teams to identify quality risks early.
• Drive defect management by identifying, documenting, tracking, and verifying issue resolution.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality assurance.
• Measure and report test coverage, automation effectiveness, and release quality metrics.
• Establish QA best practices and contribute towards building ProcDNA’s long‑term testing capability.
