Job summary

Umpisa Inc. seeks a Mid Technical Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure quality, reliability, and performance of software across lifecycle. You will work with developers, product managers, and DevOps to validate functionality, APIs, integrations, and test coverage.

The role requires hands-on testing skill, attention to detail, and proactive QA process improvements to support stable releases.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
3–6 years of QA/Software Testing, with manual and automated testing.
Experience testing web, API, and/or mobile apps, with automation exposure.
Hands-on with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright.
Familiar with CI/CD, test planning, defect tracking, and release readiness.

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on testing of web, mobile, API, and microservices applications.
Contribute to automated test suites and integration with DevOps pipelines.
Own QA activities within agile teams as the quality gatekeeper.
Ensure test phases coverage: functional, regression, integration, UAT.
Collaborate with developers, scrum masters, and stakeholders to meet requirements.
