Job summary

ProcDNA is seeking a QA Automation Engineer (4–8 years) to design robust automation frameworks, validate data pipelines, and ensure high-quality releases across multiple tech stacks. You will work with engineering, data, and product teams to embed quality throughout the lifecycle.

The role focuses on Selenium automation, API testing, data validation, and building scalable testing processes to support ProcDNA's growing suite of analytics solutions.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in QA Automation and Software Testing.
• Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver using Java or Python.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
• Strong knowledge of Data Testing methodologies.
• Excellent SQL skills with data validation.
• Experience with ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and reporting solutions.
• Hands-on API testing with tools like Postman, REST Assured.
• Familiarity with SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum.
• Experience with Jira for defect management and Git for version control.
• Experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation test frameworks using Selenium.
• Develop automated test scripts for web applications and APIs.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate data accuracy across databases, ETL pipelines, and reporting solutions.
• Create SQL-based validation scripts for large datasets.
• Build automated data validation processes for modern data platforms.
• Define test strategies, plans, and quality standards for new products.
• Collaborate with engineers, data teams, and product teams to identify risks.
• Drive defect management and verify issue resolutions.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance.
• Measure and report test coverage and release quality metrics.
