Mav3rik is seeking an Automation Quality Analyst with Insurance experience for our Manila team. You will validate insurance apps through functional, integration, and regression testing, collaborating with business and tech teams in a hybrid setup.

You will design test cases, execute tests, and track defects while supporting UAT and QA process improvements across multiple products.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Insurance domain (Life/Health) and software testing.
• Familiar with policy administration systems, claims processing, and underwriting workflows.
• Experience with testing tools (JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps, TestRail) and data validation via SQL.
• Good communication and stakeholder management; ability to work independently and in a team.
• 3–8 years of experience and willingness to work onsite in Makati.

Automation Quality Analyst (Insurance Industry)

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester with experience in the Insurance domain to join our team in Manila. The candidate will be responsible for validating insurance applications, ensuring high-quality delivery through functional, integration, and regression testing, and collaborating with business and technology teams.

You're the "roll-up-your-sleeves" type who is always willing to take on new and/or bigger challenges. You will be organised, adaptable, and capable of working across multiple projects and timelines. You will be a reliable source of information for each of the teams, with a curious mind, a desire to learn and excellent relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and functional requirements related to insurance products (Life, P&C, Health, etc) Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing Validate policy lifecycle workflows (Quotation, Underwriting, Policy Issance, Claims, Renewals).
• Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders.
• Support defect triage calls and ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting.
• Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience in Insurance domain (Life/Health insurance) and strong experience in software testing (manual or automation).
• Good understanding of policy administration systems, claims processing, and underwriting workflows.
• Testing tools (JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps, TestRail or equivalent), SQL for data validation, and API testing tools (Postman, SOAP UI).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication and stakeholder management, and the ability to work independently and in a team.
• 3–8 years of experience and the requirement to be amenable to working onsite at the Makati office.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (specifically Selenium and Java).
• Familiarity or experience with insurance platforms, particularly Watermelon.
