Job summary

LegalMatch Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer (Automation DevOps) to ensure quality across our software suite. You will design scalable automation frameworks, maintain regression suites, and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines with DevOps practices.

You will leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate testing, diagnose flaky tests, and help deliver reliable software faster. Collaboration with Engineering, Product, and Business teams is essential to success.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in architecting and building scalable, reusable QA automation frameworks using Cypress, and Playwright, supporting both web and mobile applications.
• Proven experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated build processes, and test environment management in Agile development environments.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, OpenAI Codex, OpenAI APIs) to enhance test automation, engineering productivity, and software quality.
• Solid expertise in automation strategy, regression testing, integration testing, test data management, and scalable quality engineering practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks, improve engineering processes, and validate solutions using quality and performance metrics.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, reviewing automation code, driving continuous improvement, and effectively communicating with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize automated test frameworks and regression suites using Cypress and Playwright.
• Create test strategies, plans, manual and automated test cases, and test data to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with Engineering and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, automate test environments, and accelerate release readiness.
• Leverage AI tools to develop, maintain, and improve automated test scripts, reusable assets, and QA workflows.
• Use AI and data-driven analysis to identify flaky tests, diagnose CI/CD failures, automate root cause analysis, and optimize pipeline performance.
• Monitor automated builds, regression suites, and deployment pipelines to identify risks and resolve quality issues proactively.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to understand requirements, assess risks, and ensure software quality throughout development.
• Review automation code, mentor QA engineers, and improve testing frameworks, tools, and Quality Engineering practices.
• Drive continuous improvement by leveraging automation, AI, and quality metrics to enhance engineering efficiency and software quality.
• Evaluate and implement new automation technologies, AI capabilities, and engineering tools to improve testing effectiveness and delivery speed.

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer (Automation DevOps), you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of LegalMatch's products by embedding quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Working closely with Engineering, DevOps, Product, and Business teams, you will design and maintain scalable automation frameworks, integrate quality into CI/CD pipelines, and leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate testing, improve developer feedback, and optimize release efficiency. You will also help drive continuous improvements in quality engineering practices, enabling faster and more reliable software delivery.
