Job summary

Arch Global Services is seeking a QA Engineer to join our test automation effort in Misamis Occidental, Philippines. You will design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests, build on an existing framework, and ensure quality across web and API components.

You will work with agile teams, write scripts (Python/Java/C#) and use tools like Selenium WebDriver, Postman, and CI pipelines to identify defects and improve testing processes. 5–12 years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of OOP concepts (Inheritance, Abstraction, Encapsulation, Polymorphism).
• Hands-on automation and manual testing framework experience.
• Experience with API/Microservices/Integration testing (Postman or similar).
• Proficient with Selenium WebDriver in Java, TestNG, JUnit, Maven, Cucumber, Jenkins, Git/Bitbucket.
• Experience in BDD with Cucumber/Spock; testing across Functional, Integration, Regression and UAT.
• Knowledge of build management tools and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with test management tools (Xray) and cloud repositories (Bitbucket/GitHub/GitLab).
• 5–12 years of testing/SDET/Dev experience; development background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Document and plan test cases for regression, integration, and automation.
• Write automation scripts (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C#).
• Troubleshoot and optimize the automation framework.
• Support functional validation and sprint activities.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure test coverage.
• Extend and execute automated test plans for new features; report defects.
• Continuously improve automation framework and workflows.
• Lead scrum test teams and mentor junior members on automation trends.
