Job summary

TP ICAP is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer for its Client Facing Technology team in the Philippines. The role focuses on automated testing, building and maintaining frameworks, and ensuring production-ready software with rigorous functional and performance tests.

Responsibilities include crafting automated tests, estimating testing effort from specs, and coordinating with analysts, developers, and offshore teams to deliver high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automated testing experience in financial services or vendor environments.
• Experience with FX products and FIX protocol.
• Proficiency with Linux, SQL, messaging and distributed systems.
• Able to work independently and own deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, execute and maintain automated test cases.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation tests and framework.
• Produce test cases, test scripts and test data-based requirements.
• Estimate the work involved within the testing cycle from specifications.
• Ensure testing delivers high quality for product releases.
• Identify and document issues and track them in defect tools.
• Liaise with business analysts, development team and project managers on testing.
