Job summary

TP ICAP Group in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to drive QA strategy within an Agile team. You will champion BDD/TDD practices, own automation initiatives, and ensure high-quality software releases with API-focused testing and performance checks.

You will collaborate with product owners and developers across global teams, implement shift-left testing, and build scalable automation to support award-winning products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years proven experience as a senior QA automation engineer.
• Demonstrable experience using JIRA, Zephyr, UI Automation tooling (Test Complete, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Proficient in programming or scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript or similar.
• Experience using AI tools to design and optimize automation scripts.
• Expertise in developing scalable automation frameworks with Playwright and WebDriverIO.
• Knowledge of performance, load, stress testing with K6 or equivalent.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (GitLab, TeamCity, Jenkins).
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber; performance/NFR testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global teams for efficient test planning, design, and coordination of testing efforts.
• Build and maintain functional and automated tests in CI/CD environments.
• Apply AI agents to streamline testing workflows and accelerate QA delivery.
• Design self-healing automation frameworks to improve stability and reduce maintenance.
• Integrate AI agents into Playwright workflows to enhance script creation and maintenance.
• Identify bottlenecks and provide actionable recommendations to improve quality.
• Mentor team members to raise quality standards across the Agile team.
• Promote delivery of quality software with unit tests and code reviews.
• Take ownership of key features and drive to completion with clear communication.
