Job summary

TP ICAP Group in the Philippines is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer for Client Facing Technology to uphold high quality standards across our trading platforms. You will design, write, execute and maintain automated tests using Cucumber/Gherkin/Selenium, and enhance the automation framework.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in FX, FIX4J, Linux, SQL and distributed systems, with the ability to work independently and own quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automated testing in a global financial services company or vendor using Cucumber / Gherkin / Selenium / FIX4J.
• 5+ years of experience with FX products and instruments including FIX protocol and market data.
• Proficiency with Linux, SQL and messaging/distributed systems.
• Able to work independently and own quality of output.
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities

• Design, write, execute and maintain automated test cases.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation tests and framework.
• Produce test cases, test scripts and test data as required.
• Estimate testing effort from product specs and requirements.
• Ensure testing produces high-quality product releases.
• Document and track issues through defect systems.
• Provide guidance to internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Liaise with business analysts, developers and project managers on testing.
• Coordinate with offshore development and support teams.
• Report QA status to stakeholders and demonstrate results on demand.
• Fulfil ad hoc duties; occasional manual testing may be required.
