Job summary

TP ICAP is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to own automated testing across client facing technology services. You will build and maintain test frameworks, write test data, and ensure high quality releases in a global financial services setting.

The role requires 5+ years in automated testing with Cucumber/Selenium/FIX4J, knowledge of FX products, Linux, SQL, and CI/CD (Jenkins). Hybrid work in a multinational environment with collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Essential 5+ years of automated testing experience in a global financial services company or vendor using Cucumber / Gherkin / Selenium / FIX4J.
• 5+ years of experience and knowledge of FX products and instruments including FIX protocol and market data.
• Proficiency with Linux, SQL, Messaging & Distributed Systems.
• Able to work independently and own quality outcomes for users.
• Understanding of the SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, execute and maintain automated test cases.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation tests and framework.
• Produce test cases, test scripts and test data based on requirements.
• Estimate work involved from product specifications and requirements.
• Ensure testing delivers high quality for releases.
• Identify and document issues and track them in defect tools.
• Provide guidance and support to internal teams through the project lifecycle.
• Liaise with business analysts, development team and project managers on testing aspects.
• Liaise with support teams and offshore development teams.
• Report QA status to project stakeholders and conduct internal demos.
• Fulfill ad hoc duties; occasional manual testing for client-owned systems.
