Job summary

Anthesis Group is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer in the Philippines to design, develop, and implement QA strategies for proprietary software, unifying manual and automated testing across UI, API, and performance aspects.

You will lead test planning, create and execute test scripts, manage defects in Jira, and collaborate with cross-functional teams during sprints while mentoring junior testers to elevate overall quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing.
Advanced knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes with crossfunctional collaboration.
Experience with API testing (RESTful, SOAP), UI/UX testing, cross-browser testing, and automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts for product quality.
Lead manual test case creation for functional, UI/UX, API, regression, and compatibility testing.
Automate tests to improve efficiency and maintain testing environments.
Report and track defects using Jira and assist with debugging and troubleshooting.
Coordinate with Product Owners to prioritize testing tickets and manage Jira progress.
Provide mentoring to junior testers and support DevOps/helpdesk as needed.
