Job summary

Arch Global Services Philippines is seeking a QA Engineer to execute both manual and automated testing, crafting automation scripts and testing scenarios to ensure robust software delivery. The role collaborates with Agile teams and mentors junior testers.

The candidate will enhance an existing automation framework, drive test coverage for new features, and utilize tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and Jenkins in a cloud-enabled, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts (inheritance, abstraction, encapsulation, polymorphism).
• Hands-on automation and manual testing framework experience.
• Proficient in debugging, troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java-based test stacks (TestNG, JUnit, Maven, Cucumber).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git/Bitbucket) and test management in Jira/Xray.
• Experience with data-driven testing, SQL, and ETL testing concepts.
• Familiarity with agile development processes and working in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Document and plan regression, integration, and automation test plans and test cases.
• Write automation scripts using Python, Java, JavaScript, or C# and develop automation scenarios.
• Troubleshoot and optimize the automation framework.
• Support functional validation and sprint activities.
• Communicate test coverage and status to development and product teams.
• Build and execute automated test plans against new features; report defects.
