Job summary

Rising Tide Digital, Inc. seeks a seasoned Automation Testing Lead to develop and implement automation strategies for web and mobile applications. You will lead test planning, scripting, and execution while collaborating with development teams to ensure quality and efficiency.

The role requires 5+ years in automation testing and leadership, with expertise in Selenium, Appium, Playwright, and Azure DevOps. Office-based work in the Philippines is required, with opportunities to mentor junior

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of solid experience in automation testing and test leadership, with willingness to take on people management responsibilities.
• Experience testing both web-based and mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with automation testing tools, particularly Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Azure DevOps, Jira, Jenkins, Postman, and Newman.
• Experience developing and executing test cases, analyzing test results, and reporting defects.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Applicants must be amenable to a full-time office-based work setup.
• Applicants must be amenable to working in BGC, Taguig, or Makati.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation testing strategies, select appropriate testing tools, and identify areas of the application suitable for automation.
• Collaborate with the development team and stakeholders to plan testing activities, identify test cases, and create test plans in Azure DevOps.
• Write automated test scripts, test cases, and test scenarios using WebDriverIO with Appium Service. Experience with Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Azure DevOps, Jira, Jenkins, Postman, Newman, or similar tools is an advantage.
• Execute automated tests, analyze results, identify issues, and debug defects to ensure software meets quality standards.
• Maintain and update automated test scripts to ensure they remain functional and relevant.
• Document test results, test scripts, and other relevant testing information for future reference.
• Work closely with development and other project team members to ensure applications meet quality standards and user requirements.
• Stay updated with new testing tools and techniques and recommend approaches to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
• Use automation tools to identify, isolate, and report bugs.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
