Job summary

Philko Peroxide Corp. is seeking a Senior Purchasing Officer to oversee purchasing and importation activities, including chemical shipments, supplier coordination, regulatory compliance, and cross-department collaboration in Makati.

The role requires expertise in import procedures, budgeting, and supplier management, with supervision of a Purchasing Assistant and interaction with Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
• Experience in purchasing and importation.
• Chemical importation experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of BOC, PNP, and PDEA requirements preferred.
• Strong negotiation, coordination, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple deadlines and responsibilities.
• Able to work independently and coordinate with different departments.

Responsibilities

• Importation: manage H2O2 and other chemical shipments; coordinate with brokers, forwarders, and agencies; monitor releases and storage; review broker bills; prepare import documents; resolve issues.
