Job summary

McDonald’s Philippines (Golden Arches Development Corporation) is seeking a seasoned Public Affairs leader to shape government relations strategy, engage with lawmakers, and safeguard regulatory compliance across the restaurant network in the Philippines.

You will work with senior leaders and industry partners to advance advocacy initiatives nationwide, travel as needed, and help position the brand with government partners through thoughtful policy collaboration.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in Public Affairs, Government Relations, or Legislative Affairs.
• Strong legislative exposure, preferably with Congress or government institutions.
• Preferably a lawyer; solid experience in legal and regulatory processes.
• Excellent writing and communication skills; policy writing is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Build and expand relationships with legislators and LGU officials.
• Lead development and execution of public affairs and government relations strategies.
• Serve as primary liaison between McDonald’s and government entities.
• Oversee regulatory compliance and risk management across restaurant operations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to reinforce brand positioning with government partners.
