Job summary

Zachry Philippines, Inc. is seeking a senior Project Manager to lead all phases of power-generation projects in the Philippines. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and overseas offices, while ensuring cost, schedule, and quality targets are met.

You will guide ECN processes, manage client relationships, and drive proposals and budgets to support business growth. A Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related engineering background with substantial PM experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, etc.). PMP Certification is an advantage but not required.
• Has 15–20 years of experience with design engineering, project management and client relations.
• Has at least 8–10 years as a Project Manager.
• Experience with Power Projects, combined cycle preferred.
• Manages a portfolio of projects from small to mid-cap, up to $100MM TIC and up.
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills for coordination with clients and vendors.
• Organized, self-directed, can prioritize and multi-task in a team setting.
• Willingness to learn across multiple industries and understand engineering disciplines.
• Knowledgeable in project controls (cost reporting, scheduling) and the project cycle FEED to detailed design.
• Ability to direct and control portions of projects within established policies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, research, and time management skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication; attention to detail; can handle confidential information.

Job Qualifications:

1. Has a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, etc.). PMP Certification is an advantage but not required.

2. Has fifteen (15) to twenty (20) years of experience with design engineering, project management and client relations.

3. Has at least eight (8) to ten (10) years as a Project Manager.

4. Experience with Power Projects, specifically combined cycle is preferred.

5. Experienced in managing a portfolio of projects ranging from small to mid-cap projects, as well as mid-large cap standalone projects of $100MM TIC and up.

6. Has excellent communication and inter-personal skills required to provide effective intra and inter-discipline coordination on projects, as well as effective communication with clients and vendors.

7. Must be organized, self-directed, able to prioritize and multi-task, work in a team environment and take direction from others.

8. Has the willingness to learn and work on a variety of tasks within multiple industries.

9. Has an overall understanding of engineering disciplines and project execution.

10. Knowledgeable in all aspects of project controls (cost reporting, scheduling, etc.).

11. Knowledgeable with the engineering project cycle – from FEED to detailed design.

12. Has Ability to direct and control portion of project, guided by precedent and within the limits of established policies.

13. Has research, analytical, creative problem-solving, questioning & feedback, and project & time management skills.

14. Has the ability to clearly communicate information and ideas verbally and in writing.
