Zachry Philippines, Inc. is seeking a senior Project Manager to lead all phases of power-generation projects in the Philippines. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and overseas offices, while ensuring cost, schedule, and quality targets are met.
You will guide ECN processes, manage client relationships, and drive proposals and budgets to support business growth. A Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related engineering background with substantial PM experience is required.
Lead and manage all phases of power generation projects, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk.
Direct multidisciplinary engineering teams, vendors, and overseas High Value Engineering (HVE) offices.
Monitor and control project costs, schedules, productivity, and technical performance.
Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, corporate procedures, and quality systems.
Manage change through timely identification and processing of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
Build and maintain strong client relationships and serve as the primary project liaison.
Prepare and review monthly progress reports, documentation, and invoices.
Recruit, develop, and coach project staff to meet project and business needs.
Support business development efforts, including proposal development, scopes of work, and budgets.
Has a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, etc.). PMP Certification is an advantage but not required.
Has fifteen (15) to twenty (20) years of experience with design engineering, project management and client relations.
Has at least eight (8) to ten (10) years as a Project Manager.
Experience with Power Projects, specifically combined cycle is preferred.
Experienced in managing a portfolio of projects ranging from small to mid-cap projects, as well as mid-large cap standalone projects of $100MM TIC and up.
Has excellent communication and inter-personal skills required to provide effective intra and inter-discipline coordination on projects, as well as effective communication with clients and vendors.
Must be organized, self-directed, able to prioritize and multi-task, work in a team environment and take direction from others.
Has the willingness to learn and work on a variety of tasks within multiple industries.
Has an overall understanding of engineering disciplines and project execution.
Knowledgeable in all aspects of project controls (cost reporting, scheduling, etc.).
Knowledgeable with the engineering project cycle – from FEED to detailed design.
Has Ability to direct and control portion of project, guided by precedent and within the limits of established policies.
Has research, analytical, creative problem-solving, questioning & feedback, and project & time management skills.
Has the ability to clearly communicate information and ideas verbally and in writing.
Has the ability to independently organize and prioritize work assignments; coordinate a variety of tasks with good attention to details; ability to deal with conflicting priorities and deadlines.
