Job summary

SMEC (An SJ Group Company) seeks a seasoned Finance professional to support G&T SEA & Pacific operations. You will help prepare budgets and forecasts, monitor performance against targets, and deliver regular financial reports for the sub-sector.

work includes managing project accountants, ensuring compliance with BMS/QMS/OH&S, and maintaining strong controls over WIP, debtors, and contractual obligations across regional projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
5–7+ years in Finance/Accounting.
Experience in Shared Services or BPO.
Knowledge of AR/AP/Cash/Reconciliation.
Proficient in English reporting.

Responsibilities

Assist with preparation of G&T, Pacific annual budgets, and quarterly forecast.
Monitor actuals vs target and support monthly and annual targets.
Prepare annual, monthly operations and bi-weekly status reports for the sub-sector.
Manage the G&T SEAP Projects accountants and ensure deliverables and targets are met.
Adhere to SMEC’s BMS, QMS and OH&S procedures.
Ensure contractual obligations are met and compliance is maintained.
All accounting, reporting and financial support across SMEC operations for G&T SEA & Pacific.
