RunRemote is helping an Australian property development and civil construction company find a Senior Bookkeeper/Accountant for 100% remote work. You will manage high-volume bookkeeping across multiple projects, code supplier invoices in Xero, and support BAS and monthly reporting.

The role requires 5+ years of Australian bookkeeping experience, strong Xero skills, and meticulous attention to detail. This is an independent contractor role, remote from the Philippines, aligned with AU time,

Qualifications

• 5+ years Australian bookkeeping or accounting experience, ideally in senior roles.
• Strong knowledge of Xero, BAS preparation, GST and reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and cost centres with high accuracy.
• Proficient in Excel and document management tools.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping across multiple projects and entities.
• Code and reconcile supplier invoices, consultant fees, and credit card transactions in Xero.
• Allocate expenses to correct project and cost category for accurate reporting.
• Prepare weekly accounts payable schedules and liaise for approvals.
• Assist with BAS lodgement and monthly financial reporting.
