Job summary

LTM in Mexico City is seeking experienced Progress OpenEdge Developers to join our Build Team. You will develop, enhance, and support business-critical applications on Progress OpenEdge, leveraging OpenEdge 10.2B and ABL/4GL.

You will work with legacy systems, participate in SDLC, code reviews, and collaborate with global teams across English- and Spanish-speaking environments. Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of hands-on experience required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years hands-on Progress OpenEdge development experience.
Experience supporting enterprise applications in production environments.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Progress OpenEdge 10.2B.
Develop and support solutions using Progress ABL/4GL.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve database connectivity issues and application problems.
Review, understand, and modify complex legacy code while ensuring stability.
Collaborate with business analysts, functional teams, and stakeholders to deliver enhancements and production fixes.
Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment activities, and release management processes.
Follow established SDLC processes and development best practices.
Utilize source/version control tools to manage code changes effectively.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and modernization efforts.
