Job summary

Ingersoll Rand plc is seeking a Production Planner to develop, coordinate, and monitor production schedules ensuring timely manufacturing and delivery. The role bridges Sales, Procurement, Stores, and Production to maintain smooth flow, balancing demand, inventory, and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have 7–10 years in production planning with BE/B-Tech in Mechanical or Electrical, strong Excel and MRP skills, and the ability to work across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• BE/B-Tech in Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in Production Planning / Manufacturing Planning.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of MRP.

Responsibilities

• Create daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer demand, forecasts and inventory.
• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet delivery commitments.
• Balance production capacity and material availability.
• Monitor schedule adherence and take corrective actions for delays.
• Coordinate with Sales, Material Buyer, Quality, Engineering and Logistics teams.
• Track production performance against plan and report variances.
• Review materials and coordinate for shortages with the Material Buyer.
