ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you an experienced engineering professional looking to drive operational excellence and optimize manufacturing processes?

We are seeking Senior Production Engineers to oversee the efficiency, quality, and productivity of our plastics manufacturing operations. The roles will focus on either Plastics Extrusion or Injection Molding, depending on the candidate's technical expertise and the requirements of the assigned production area.

As a Senior Production Engineer, you will lead technical troubleshooting, optimize manufacturing processes, improve equipment performance, and develop the technical capabilities of the engineering team to achieve production targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process Optimization & Quality Control: Optimize manufacturing processes and operating parameters to improve product quality, consistency, yield, and reduce defects and scrap/reject rates.

• Operational Efficiency & Machine Productivity: Monitor and improve key operational metrics, including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), machine utilization, productivity, and downtime.

• Technical Troubleshooting: Identify, analyze, and resolve process-related issues and recurring technical problems to improve process stability and minimize production disruptions.

• Continuous Improvement: Identify process bottlenecks, implement corrective and preventive actions, and lead improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and productivity.

• Team Leadership & Technical Development: Provide technical guidance and hands‑on troubleshooting support to production engineers and operators. Develop and implement engineering skill‑up training plans aligned with operational and competency requirements.

• Training Effectiveness: Monitor training plan completion, evaluate training effectiveness, and identify additional development opportunities to strengthen the technical capabilities of the engineering team.

• Reporting & Collaboration: Monitor production performance, analyze process variances, prepare technical improvement reports, and collaborate with Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and other relevant stakeholders to achieve production objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Licensed Engineer is an advantage.

• Experience: 3-5 years of hands‑on experience in plastics or wires manufacturing, specifically in either Plastics Extrusion or Injection Molding.

• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in the relevant plastics or wires manufacturing process, including machinery operation, process parameter optimization, productivity monitoring, and technical troubleshooting.

• Core Competencies: Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, leadership ability, continuous improvement mindset, and effective communication and collaboration skills.
