Job summary

AKQA is seeking an experienced Designer to contribute to strategy, conception and design of digital products and services. You will craft exceptional work from brief to end user, collaborating with UX, strategy and product design teams in a Berlin-based, hybrid environment.

Responsibilities include creating mood boards, translating brand direction, maintaining design systems, and mentoring junior designers while delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a dedicated digital design role.
• Proven track record of designing beautiful, intuitive digital products.
• Strong experience with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.

Responsibilities

• Design effective, innovative solutions across digital touchpoints, including websites, apps, and interfaces.
• Build and maintain design systems, including Figma components, variables, and tokens.
• Create mood boards, style guides, and translate brand direction into polished digital work.
• Collaborate closely with UX, strategy, and the wider product design team as a core member of the group.
• Mentor mid-level and junior designers and share knowledge across Experience Design.
