Job summary

Offshore 247 Outsourcing OPC is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to own analytics across product, growth and subscription metrics for a fast-growing Australian tech company. You will work with founder and leadership to define what to measure, ensure data quality and translate analysis into actionable recommendations.

The role involves hands-on BigQuery, SQL, Python and Looker Studio, with end-to-end governance and a shadow-scale analytics backbone.

Qualifications

• Proven experience owning analytics end-to-end—from instrumentation and data foundations through to dashboards, insights and business recommendations.
• Strong product or customer-lifecycle analytics experience, including user behaviour, funnels, cohorts, retention or experimentation.
• Advanced SQL skills with complex joins, CTEs, subqueries and window functions.
• Professional BigQuery experience with large datasets.
• Experience creating dashboards used by founders or senior leadership.
• Ability to translate analysis into clear commercial or product recommendations.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Own company-wide analytics, including metric definitions, data quality and reporting governance.
• Develop and maintain a single source of truth for product, growth, subscription and revenue metrics.
• Design and improve website, campaign and product event tracking.
• Analyse user behaviour, acquisition, activation, retention and churn.
• Work hands-on with BigQuery and SQL; maintain data pipelines.
• Reconcile subscription data across Stripe and App Store Connect.
• Build and maintain dashboards using Looker Studio or similar tools.
• Support A/B testing with defined hypotheses and metrics.
• Present findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Use Python for data cleaning and backfills as needed.
• Support analytics for AI-enabled features and personalization models.
