Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields; MBA/PGDM preferred.
• Certifications in procurement/supply chain such as CIPS/CSCP/CPSM a plus.
• 10+ years procurement experience with strategic sourcing & vendor relations.
• 2+ years mentoring direct reports.
• Strong experience in procurement, sourcing, negotiations, and supplier management.
• Experience with ERP/procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
• High integrity, urgency, and results-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with budgets and objectives.
• Lead sourcing activities including RFQs/RFPs, negotiations, and supplier selection.
• Maintain competitive supplier base via market research and benchmarking.
• Build strong supplier relationships; monitor performance against requirements.
• Lead supplier negotiations for favorable terms and total cost of ownership.
• Drive cost savings and procurement optimization through strategic sourcing.
• Oversee procure-to-pay process with Finance and stakeholders.
• Support contract development, renewal, and compliance with terms.
• Ensure procurement complies with policies and ethics; support audits.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, IT, HR, Legal to optimize costs and processes.
• Support budgeting and forecasting by tracking spend and savings.
• Prepare procurement reports and dashboards for KPIs.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and use ERP/e-procurement.
• Lead and develop the procurement team with coaching and training.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Respect PHI handling per HIPAA standards and security policies.
• Ensure HIPAA/compliance awareness across the team.
